Terms for using MacoLabs, applying for coaching and working together.

What these terms cover
These terms cover macolabs.dev, inquiries, private AI coaching applications and the general framework for MacoLabs services. Separately operated products and external providers linked from this website may have their own terms.
Sending a project brief or coaching application is free. It does not order a paid service, create a payment obligation or subscribe you to a newsletter. A submission confirmation acknowledges receipt of your application; it is not acceptance of a paid order.
A consumer is an individual acting outside their trade, business or profession. Statutory consumer withdrawal rights generally do not apply to business purchases. Your age group does not itself determine whether you are a consumer.
Applications, offers and contracts
You can check and correct your form before sending it and request corrections by email afterwards. Please provide a working email address for confirmations, discussion and offers. If no confirmation arrives, contact us rather than assuming a paid order has been agreed.
Maco reviews applications personally. Coaching is primarily designed around the needs of people over 60. An application does not guarantee availability or an offer; we discuss suitability and scope separately.
Paid work is agreed only after acceptance of an individual offer and contract, in the manner specified in those documents. Coaching access requires an accepted offer, a signed contract and receipt of the first amount due. This website is not a general instant-payment checkout.
Before you commit, you receive the exact scope, duration, total price including the applicable tax treatment, payment and delivery conditions, technical requirements and applicable consumer information and contact details in a durable form, such as email or PDF. The contract language is English or Hungarian, as agreed. We keep contract documents in our electronic client records; you can request a copy by email.
Prices, delivery and appointments
Project budgets displayed on the website are indicative. Your individual offer specifies the currency, total payable price accounting for taxes, instalments and any additional costs. Extra charges require prior agreement. We do not request payment card details in the application.
The individual agreement specifies session numbers and lengths, location or online format, deliverables, access period, deadlines and rescheduling conditions. Any cancellation or missed-session fee must be disclosed before the contract is made and cannot override statutory consumer rights.
Coaching and development outcomes also depend on collaboration and the external tools used. We do not promise a particular revenue, business result or error-free AI output. This does not reduce our responsibility to deliver the service as agreed.
Consumer cancellation rights
For a distance service contract, consumers generally have 14 days from conclusion of the contract to withdraw without giving a reason. If performance has started, the contract may be terminated within that period. Send an unequivocal statement to the email or postal address above before the deadline. The template below is optional.
We start a service within the 14-day period only at the consumer’s express request. If you then cancel, a proportionate fee for the service actually provided may be payable where the required information was given. You lose the right only after the service has been fully performed, following your prior express request for early performance and acknowledgement that full performance ends that right. Accepting these terms or applying does not itself provide either acknowledgement.
We refund amounts due within 14 days of being informed of your withdrawal or termination, using the original payment method unless you expressly agree to another method without additional cost. A lawful proportionate service fee may be accounted for. Statutory extensions of the withdrawal period and other consequences of missing information remain applicable.
Intellectual property, confidentiality and defects
Website text, images and learning materials may be protected by copyright. Your individual contract sets out the rights to use commissioned software, source code and learning materials. Uses permitted by law remain permitted.
Only share material you are entitled to disclose. We handle confidential business information as needed to provide the service and enter a separate processing agreement where we process personal data on your behalf. Do not submit passwords, payment card details or unnecessary health or other sensitive data in an application.
Statutory remedies for defective performance under the Hungarian Civil Code, and applicable rules for digital services, remain available. Report a defect by email after discovering it, identifying the service and the issue. These terms do not exclude mandatory warranty rights, statutory damages or other non-waivable consumer protections.
Complaints and disputes
Send complaints to maco@macolabs.dev or our registered address. We give a substantive, reasoned response to written consumer complaints within 30 days. If a complaint is rejected, we provide information about the available authority and conciliation procedures.
After trying to resolve the dispute directly with us, a consumer may request the free procedure of the competent Hungarian conciliation board, normally determined by their residence. We must cooperate in this procedure. You may also contact the competent consumer protection authority about consumer protection breaches or bring contractual claims before a court. Choosing Hungarian law does not deprive an EU consumer of mandatory protections of their country of habitual residence or forums available under applicable jurisdiction rules.
Website operation and changes
The public website is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, United States; dpo@cloudflare.com). Hostinger provides database hosting and email delivery. Our separate Privacy Policy explains data processing.
Updated terms apply to later applications and agreements and do not retroactively change an existing contract. Individual agreements and mandatory legal provisions take precedence. You can save this page as a PDF using your browser’s print function.
